SCRAP AND METALS

Scrap alloyed steel

In sectors such as chemicals and the food industry, aviation and aerospace engineering, or for offshore wind parks in the world’s oceans, industry requires specially manufactured steel. This is turned into alloyed steel by adding specific additives such as chromium, nickel, silicon or manganese. The properties of alloyed steel guarantee high levels of rigidity and durability for an extremely wide range of load levels and types. But stainless steels such as V2A and V4A are also found in many areas of everyday life.

The alloys constitute high-quality materials and, in view of continuously increasing prices and resource scarcity, are attractive candidates for recycling.
